Business Partner Spotlight: Image and Frame

Business Partner Spotlight: Image and Frame

This month, Pavilion Fine Arts Gallery is honored to feature the unsung heroes of the Scottsdale arts district, Image and Frame Art Services.

In 2012, Eric and Lynn launched Image & Frame in the back of Eric’s aunt and uncle’s print shop, Inkslinger’s Inc., in Tempe AZ. Their success soon led them to move into a dedicated location in North Scottsdale, where they refined their business. In 2018, they seized the opportunity to acquire Framer’s Workshop from Rolf and Kris Gruller, inheriting a top-tier framing shop with a unique collection of closed corner picture frames. This merger solidified their reputation, making them one of the largest closed corner frame designers and dealers in the U.S.

After a lengthy process, they were finally able to open their fully operational shop in Old Town Scottsdale’s Shopping & Arts District, near the iconic One-Eyed Jack sculpture at 7012 E Indian School Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. The transition was smooth, thanks to their close collaboration with the Grullers, leading to a seamless integration of services and clientele.

The owners of Image and Frame bring with them a wealth of invaluable expertise. Eric has over 30 years of experience in prestigious frame shops and gilding houses, including Platte River Art Services and Artech Denman, and has run his own contemporary craft and fine art gallery. Growing up in a printing family, he developed an early appreciation for fine printed papers. Lynn holds a Master of Art History from the University of Illinois and has extensive experience in art administration at the University of Washington and the University of Illinois. She also has years of retail management experience in fine contemporary craft and art jewelry galleries in Denver, Colorado.
