We are delighted to welcome Jenny Simon to Pavilion Fine Arts Gallery. Born in Germany, Jenny's early exposure to the visual arts, theater, and dance sparked a lifelong passion for creative expression. By age six, she was already composing music and crafting wooden sculptures in her father's workshop. Her extensive travels across Europe further enriched her artistic perspective, inspiring her to study and imitate renowned German painters like Karl Spitzweg and Albrecht Dürer.
Jenny's artistic journey evolved from drawing with charcoal to experimenting with acrylics and watercolors during her adolescence. Influenced by masters such as Gerhard Richter and Jackson Pollock, she eventually found her true calling in creating large, abstract oil paintings. Her distinctive style is characterized by rich textures and bold colors, which have captivated art lovers and collectors worldwide.
In 2002, Jenny established her new studio in Southern California, where she continues to create her mesmerizing artworks. Her membership in the National Association of Women Artists (NAWA) and her role as president of the Pasadena Society of Artists further underscore her commitment to the arts community.
Jenny's works are a testament to her extraordinary ability to capture the beauty of the natural world and evoke profound emotional connections. Her paintings, inspired by the splendor of seascapes and nature, adorn private collections globally, solidifying her reputation as a leading contemporary oil painter.
We invite you to join us in celebrating Jenny Simon's remarkable talent and dedication to her craft. Her thickly textured oil paintings are not only a feast for the eyes but also a journey into the essence of nature itself. Welcome, Jenny Simon, to Pavilion Fine Arts Gallery—where your artistry will undoubtedly inspire and captivate all who encounter it.
